First meeting of the Congress of St. Louis.

The Congress of St. Louis, hosted by the Grand Republic of Delvera, is a event to be held in frequent, scheduled sessions from 04 to 25 August 2018, via Internet remotely, to overcome obstacles of time and distance among its members. The purpose of the event is to promote rules of conduct relating to conflict resolution and to promote intermicronational economic standards, which would be codified at the Congress, yet enforced by respective nations separately. The Congress wasn’t to be a permanent organization, but rather an event.

The first session took place on 04 August, The Karno-Ruthenian and Delveran delegations were present. The Fristehenian and Dewaconian delegations did not attend the meeting. The meeting, apart of introductory remarks, was the discussion of the pending articles of the 2018 Intermicronational Convention on War, specifically weapons, personal protection, and training. Because only a few delegations were present, the talks did not go too far. The Karno-Ruthenian delegation asked for time to analyze the text, having discussed in principle its effectiveness, being persuaded by the Delverans, since the intent of the document was to establish standards whereby a physical micronational war could take place within the scope of what a micronation is and without violating macronational law.

During the session, was recommended the establishment of the Committee on Economic Development, the Committee on Truces and Prisoners of War and Committee on Economic Warfare.

The second session of the Congress of St. Louis was scheduled for 11 August

II Micronational Summit of São Paulo: success!

The 2018 Micronational Summit of São Paulo was the second summit of heads of states and governments of the Lusophone Sector of micronationalism. This summit, as the previous that happened in 2016, intended to promote the practice of micronationalism and bring together the leaders of the already established micronations.

The meeting was attended by the Emperor-King and Empress of Karnia-Ruthenia, Count Lucas of Orange, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Provinces of Mauricia and Kaiser Wilhelm III and the Count Ferdinand of Vyšehrad of the Império Alemão, a simulationist and historical-modelist micronation.

Despite the difference between the micronational projects that attended the summit, three historical-modelists, which are the predominant genre in the Lusophone Sector, and the realist-derivatist represented by Karnia-Ruthenia, the meeting found several points of convergence that made the summit a resounding diplomatic success between the participants.

Subjects discussed between the parties dealt with diplomacy in the Lusophone sector in a broad aspect, comparisons on micronational practices in different countries, international cooperation and citizen interchange to strengthen ties and share technologies and information, as well as micronational economics and market dynamics.

There was also the awarding of the commemorative medals of the event to the participants and of the Order of St. Peter by Karnia-Ruthenia and of the Maurense Order of the Golden Fleece by the United Provinces of Mauricia.

Facing the cohesion of the participants, other issues of the meeting are expected to occur in 2018.

Message of Condolences to the Royal Family of Romania.

His Imperial and Royal Majesty, the Emperor-King, received the news of the death of His Royal Majesty, King Michael of Romania early this morning.

A model of behavior and attitude, King Michael reigned with faith and confidence in his mission in one of the most terrible moments of the last century. The last King of Romania personally contributed decisively to shortening the Second World War, saving hundreds of thousands of Romanian civilians and potentially tens or even hundreds of thousands of Romanian and Soviet soldiers, ensuring that the Allied victory would come much more quickly.

An historical injustice perpetrated by Communists and traitors removed him from the throne, but could never erase his history. After the fall of communism, the King showed his devotion to its Nation, proving that he always was at the service of his country, always in service of the Romanian nation, with inspiring dignity.

May God receive this King of the Romanians: an exceptional man and a dignifying example of what a monarch must be, a public man and an honorable servant of the fatherland. We send our condolences to the Royal Family and to the Romanian People.
